The Belmont Red Raiders basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Prospect Mountain Timberwolves to 32 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host White Mountains for a Division III contest on Friday, January 5. Belmont will battle a Spartans team coming off a 57-53 non-league win over Littleton (Littleton, NH). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.

The Timberwolves (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Gilford (Gilford, NH). The Golden Eagles enter the Division III contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Gilford was routed by Laconia (Laconia, NH), 60-48, in a league contest.
