October 31, 2008: Raymondville, TX 78580 The Raymondville Bearkats football team (Raymondville, TX), was tipped 20-19 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX)
The Tarpons (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Progreso (Progreso, TX). The Red Ants come into the 3A Region IV District 32 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Progreso nipped Zapata (Zapata, TX), 34-28, in a league challenge.
The Bearkats now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lyford for a 3A Region IV District 32 challenge on Friday, November 7. Raymondville will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-50 league loss to Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
