Washington, DC High School Football - Archbishop Carroll felled by St. John's
October 26, 2013: Washington, DC 20017 The Archbishop Carroll Lions football team (Washington, DC), was beaten 37-7 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC)
The Cadets (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Eagles come into the Washington Catholic challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Gonzaga knocked off Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD), 28-13, in a league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host DeMatha for a Washington Catholic challenge on Saturday, November 2. Archbishop Carroll will meet a Stags team coming off a 31-21 league win over Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Stags record now stands at 8-1.
