Brick Township Green Dragons (Brick, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Jackson Memorial Jaguars (Jackson Township, NJ), 61-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Brick Township upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Green Dragons host Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ) to play the Rams in a Shore A - South bout on Tuesday, December 22. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Southern Regional lost 79-76 in their recent non-league bout against Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 19. Jackson Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 38-28 league win over Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ).
