Delaware High School Lacrosse - Penn overwhelms DuPont
March 31, 2009: Wilmington, DE 19807 The Penn Colonials walloped the host DuPont Tigers lacrosse squad by a final score of 9-4 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the triumph, Penn betters its record to 2-0 on the season. The Colonials host Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE) to play the Green Knights in a Blue Hen Flight bout on Thursday, April 2. The Green Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Mount Pleasant won 15-4 in their recent non-league bout against Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE)
With the defeat, DuPont drops to 0-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, April 2. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-1. St. Mark's won 9-6 in their recent non-league bout against Middletown (Middletown, DE)
