The Orange Lions basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Hawken Hawks to 46 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin contest on Tuesday, February 1. Orange will confront a Pirates team coming off a 58-56 league loss to Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 5-9.

The Hawks (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH). The Skippers enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Harding lost by Richmond Heights (Richmond Heights, OH), 91-60, in a non-league contest.
