West Virginia High School Basketball - Greenbrier East overwhelms Summers County
December 1, 2018: Lewisburg, WV 24901 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) and the visiting Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), saw Greenbrier East's basketball squad wallop Summers County by a tally of 79-46.
With the victory, Greenbrier East improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Princeton (Princeton, WV) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Princeton won 47-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Tazewell (Tazewell, VA)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 7. Summers County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
