New Mexico High School Football - Magdalena routs Alamo Navajo
October 14, 2016: Magdalena, NM 87825 The Magdalena Steers football squad scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Alamo Navajo Cougars to 6 in the Steers league victory on Friday.
The Steers now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill for a 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 21. Magdalena will face a Falcons squad coming off a 52-6 league win over Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Falcons record now stands at 4-3.
Coming up next, the Cougars face the Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) in a 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) battle, on Friday, October 21. Alamo Navajo will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 56-6 league win over Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM).
