Kentucky High School Football - Whitley County trounced by Bell County
September 14, 2018: Williamsburg, KY 40769 Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the host Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), 45-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Bell County improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Bobcats host McCreary Central (Stearns, KY) to confront the Raiders in a 3A District 8 test on Friday, September 21. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 0-5. McCreary Central lost 57-7 in their recent non-league test against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY)
With the loss, Whitley County moves to 1-2 on the season. The Colonels travel to North Laurel (London, KY) to confront the Jaguars in a 5A District 8 test on Friday, September 28. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 3-2.
