California High School Basketball - Marin Catholic holds off Tamalpais
January 28, 2011: Mill Valley, CA 94941 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Marin Catholic Wildcats (Kentfield, CA) and the host Tamalpais Hawks (Mill Valley, CA), saw Marin Catholic's basketball squad hold off Tamalpais by a score of 48-43.
With the victory, Marin Catholic improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Novato (Novato, CA) to play the Hornets in a Marin County challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. Novato lost 54-39 in their recent league challenge against Branson (Ross, CA)
Next up, the Hawks play the Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) in a Marin County challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Tamalpais will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Giants come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 58-56 league loss to San Rafael (San Rafael, CA).
