August 30, 2013: Lewistown, OH 43333 The Indian Lake Lakers football team (Lewistown, OH), was beaten 28-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH)
The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasant (Marion, OH). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Pleasant achieved victory over Mohawk (Sycamore, OH), 58-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Lakers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenton Ridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 6. Indian Lake will meet a Cougars team coming off a 48-19 non-league win over Northeastern (Springfield, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
