In Saturday's league match, the host Powell Panthers basketball team scored a tight 51-49 triumph over the Star Valley Braves.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Lovell Bulldogs (Lovell, WY) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 15. Powell will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 77-44 non-league win over Wyoming Indian (Ethete, WY).
