January 20, 2012: Orlando, FL 32807 The Covenant Christian Lions basketball team (Palm Bay, FL), was overwhelmed 62-7 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Faith Christian Lions (Orlando, FL)
The Lions now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Foundation Academy for a 2A District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Faith Christian will meet a Lions team coming off a 76-63 non-league win over Agape Christian Academy (Orlando, FL). The Lions record now stands at 15-7.
The Lions (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Cornerstone Academy (Gainesville, FL). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 0-12 record. In their last battle, Cornerstone Academy was overwhelmed by IMG Academies (Bradenton, FL), 44-36, in a non-league battle.
