December 29, 2017: Arkoma, OK 74901 In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Booneville Bearcats basketball squad scored a close 50-48 victory over the Arkoma Mustangs.
With the victory, Booneville improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Vian (Vian, OK) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Vian won 50-22 in their recent non-league challenge against West Fork (West Fork, AR)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the McCurtain Bulldogs (McCurtain, OK) in a Green Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Arkoma will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 41-37 non-league loss to Canadian (Canadian, OK).
