April 20, 2018: Severn, MD 21144 St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD), 14-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. John's upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Cadets travel to St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) to battle the Knights in a Washington Catholic test on Saturday, April 21. The Knights come into the test with a record of 8-9. St. Mary's Ryken lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA)
With the defeat, Archbishop Spalding falls to 6-8 on the season. The Cavaliers host Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD) to battle the Dons in a MIAA A test on Monday, April 23. The Dons come into the test with a record of 10-7. Loyola Blakefield won 11-4 in their recent league test against St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD)
