West Virginia High School Football - Ritchie County topples Frontier
September 7, 2018: Ellenboro, WV 26346 The Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV) football defeated the visiting Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH), 28-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Rebels face the St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV) in a Little Kanawha bout, on Thursday, September 13. Ritchie County will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 28-17 league loss to Roane County (Spencer, WV).
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cameron (Cameron, WV). The Dragons enter the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Cameron defeated Valley (Pine Grove, WV), 48-0, in a league bout.
