Kentucky High School Basketball - Conner nudges Lexington Catholic
December 3, 2016: Hebron, KY 41048 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) basketball squad nipped the visiting Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY), by a margin of 77-74.
The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Cooper (Burlington, KY). The Jaguars go into the District 33 outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Cooper was tipped by Mason (Mason, OH), 70-59, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Corbin for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 6. Lexington Catholic will clash with a Redhounds squad coming off a 81-61 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Redhounds record now stands at 2-0.
