Game Summary

Crete faced Holdrege in the Third place match of the Central Conference Tournament. Crete matched Holdrege for shots in the first half, with 8. Holdrege took the lead at the 36th minute when a Holdrege player drove down the left side of the field and struck a well hit ball to the left of the Crete keeper. At half it was Holdrege 1-0. Crete came out after halftime regrouped and started strong. Crete scored in just the 45th minute as well as the 47th minute. The first goal was scored by Steven Rajaniemi off of an assist by Anthony Bolanos. The second goal was scored by Harrinson Vicente off of an assist by Danny Buser. Holdrege would even the score in the 51st minute when Holdrege defelcted a shot into the back of the net. Crete would then regain the lead when Bolanos received a pass from Vicente and drilled the ball past the Holdrege keeper. Crete put the game out of reach in the 66th minute when they were awarded a PK. Vicente stepped up and put it in the corner of the goal.
