October 9, 2009: Nampa, ID 83687 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Middleton Vikings (Middleton, ID) and the host Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID), observed Middleton's football squad edge Columbia by a count of 21-19.
The Vikings now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Emmett for a 4A Southern Idaho contest on Friday, October 16. Middleton will play a Huskies squad coming off a 27-21 league loss to Skyview (Nampa, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Columbia moves to 3-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID) to confront the Knights in a 4A Southern Idaho outing on Friday, October 16. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Bishop Kelly won 28-18 in their recent league outing against Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID)
