California High School Baseball - St. Mary's gets by Encinal
April 16, 2010: Alameda, CA 94501 St. Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA), 11-8 in a league test.
With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Panthers host Lick-Wilmerding (San Francisco, CA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 17. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 9-4. Lick-Wilmerding lost 7-3 in their recent league test against Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA)
With the defeat, Encinal falls to 11-5 on the season. The Jets travel to Piedmont (Piedmont, CA) to battle the Highlanders in a Bay Shore test on Wednesday, April 21. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 6-7. Piedmont won 3-1 in their recent league test against Swett (Crockett, CA)
