The Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Orange Tornadoes (Orange, NJ), 66-62 in Wednesday's league test.

The Blue Devils (18-7) will now prepare for their test against Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 9-14 record.

The Tornadoes now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Phillipsburg for a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. Orange will encounter a Stateliners squad coming off a 46-45 non-league win over Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The Stateliners record now stands at 14-8.
