New York High School Football - Herricks held off by MacArthur
October 22, 2016: New Hyde Park, NY 11040 MacArthur Generals (Levittown, NY) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the host Herricks Highlanders (New Hyde Park, NY), 12-10 in a league test.
With the triumph, MacArthur improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Long Beach (Long Beach, NY) to battle the Marines in a Section 8 Conference II test on Saturday, October 29. The Marines come into the test with a record of 5-2. Long Beach won 33-13 in their recent league test against Great Neck North (Great Neck, NY)
With the loss, Herricks drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Sewanhaka (Floral Park, NY) to battle the Indians in a Section 8 Conference II test on Saturday, October 29. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-5. Sewanhaka lost 35-0 in their recent league test against Garden City (Garden City, NY)
