In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting River Valley Blackhawks volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the DeForest Norskies.

The Blackhawks (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Richland Center (Richland Center, WI). The Hornets come into the Southwest Wisconsin battle with a 14-1 record. In their last battle, Richland Center nudged Cochrane-Fountain City (Fountain City, WI), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Norskies clash with the Sauk Prairie Eagles (Prairie du Sac, WI) in a Badger - North battle, on Tuesday, September 25. DeForest will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record.
