Nevada High School Baseball - Pershing County wallops Hug

Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) fans exited the stadium happy Tuesday as they saw their baseball squad beat the host Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), 17-5 in a non-league battle.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) in a 3A/2A Lahontan battle, on Saturday, March 19. Pershing County will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Dust Devils enter the battle with a 5-0 record after their 25-0 league win over Silver State Academy/ROP (Yerington, NV).

The Hawks now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lowry for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 16. Hug will play a Buckaroos squad coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Wooster (Reno, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 0-4.
