Nebraska High School Basketball - Creighton holds off Boyd County
December 29, 2017: Creighton, NE 68729 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Creighton Bulldogs (Creighton, NE) and the visiting Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE), saw Creighton's basketball squad hold off Boyd County by a tally of 61-55.
With the victory, Creighton improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NE) to confront the Bees in a D2 District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Bees come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Bloomfield lost 61-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Wausa (Wausa, NE)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Santee Warriors (Santee, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Boyd County will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 54-33 non-league loss to Mead (Mead, NE).
