February 7, 2014: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) and the host East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC), saw Red Springs's basketball squad wallop East Columbus by a tally of 76-49.

With the victory, Red Springs improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to confront the Wolfpack in a 2A/1A Conference 16 challenge on Monday, February 10. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Whiteville won 64-61 in their recent league challenge against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC)

Next up, the Gators confront the St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) in a 2A/1A Conference 16 test, on Tuesday, February 11. East Columbus will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record.
