The Lewis County basketball team (Craigmont, ID), dropped 48-40 in Saturday's league battle with the host Timberline Spartans (Weippe, ID)

The Spartans now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Orofino for a non-league battle on Monday, January 19. Timberline will battle a Maniacs team coming off a 56-20 non-league loss to Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID). The Maniacs record now stands at 0-11.

The (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Prairie (Cottonwood, ID). The Pirates come into the 1A White Pine battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Prairie dropped by Lapwai (Lapwai, ID), 60-39, in a league battle.
