The Whiteland Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Center Grove Trojans to 55 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 23. Whiteland will meet a Falcons team coming off a 68-64 non-league loss to Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.

The Trojans (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Bloomington South edged Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN), 73-54, in a non-league contest.
