October 16, 2010: Greeley, CO 80631 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Greeley West Spartans (Greeley, CO) and the host Greeley Central Wildcats (Greeley, CO), saw Greeley West's volleyball squad beat Greeley Central by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Greeley West upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Spartans travel to Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO) to play the Lambkins in a 5A Front Range bout on Tuesday, October 19. The Lambkins go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Fort Collins won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Boulder (Boulder, CO)
The Wildcats now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centaurus for a 4A Northern contest on Tuesday, October 19. Greeley Central will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Longmont (Longmont, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 1-17.
