Delaware High School Volleyball - Caravel edged by Concord
October 14, 2016: Wilmington, DE 19810 The Concord Raiders held off the visiting Caravel Buccaneers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.
The Raiders now have a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilmington Charter for a Blue Hen Flight - A test on Monday, October 17. Concord will confront a team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The record now stands at 9-2.
The Buccaneers (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Wilmington Christian was nudged by Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE), 3-0, in a non-league test.
