Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC), 59-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eau Claire moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Shamrocks travel to Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC) to face the Griffins in a non-league game on Monday, January 4. The Griffins enter the game with a record of 2-6. Fairfield Central lost 50-39 in their recent non-league game against Keenan (Columbia, SC)
