The Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) basketball nipped the host Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), 42-36 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Centurions (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Nordhoff (Ojai, CA). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Nordhoff was tipped by El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA), 63-11, in a non-league test.
