Minnesota High School Basketball - Hopkins tops De Pere
February 2, 2013: Minnetonka, MN 55305 Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting De Pere Redbirds (De Pere, WI), 85-70 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hopkins upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Anoka (Anoka, MN) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 5. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a record of 3-13. Anoka lost 66-41 in their recent league bout against Elk River (Elk River, MN)
Coming up next, the Redbirds confront the Lincoln Ships (Manitowoc, WI) in a Fox River Classic battle, on Friday, February 8. De Pere will attempt to improve on its 15-2 season record. The Ships come into the battle with a 7-11 record after their 63-44 league win over East (Green Bay, WI).
