October 24, 2014: Fayetteville, NC 28303 The Westover Wolverines football team (Fayetteville, NC), was knocked off 39-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC)
The Cavaliers (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Cape Fear Valley challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Terry Sanford knocked off Lee County (Sanford, NC), 14-12, in a league challenge.
The Wolverines now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee County for a 3A Cape Fear Valley challenge on Friday, October 31. Westover will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 14-12 league loss to Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-1.
