Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX), 72-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lovington upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Kermit (Kermit, TX) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Friday, November 30. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Mules play the Midland Lee Rebels (Midland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 1. Muleshoe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 63-59 non-league loss to Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX).
