In Friday's league game, the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets (Mobile, AL) football team tipped the visiting Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL), by a score of 35-28.

The Yellowjackets (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Theodore (Theodore, AL). The Bobcats come into the 7A Region 1 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Theodore was tipped by Foley (Foley, AL), 48-33, in a league game.

The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fairhope for a 7A Region 1 game on Thursday, October 22. Murphy will battle a Pirates team coming off a 23-20 league win over Davidson (Mobile, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 6-2.
