In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Friendswood Mustangs basketball squad scored a nice 51-40 victory over the Ball Tornadoes.

With the victory, Friendswood improves its record to 17-16 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Texas City (Texas City, TX) to battle the Stingarees in a 4A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, February 17. The Stingarees come into the challenge with a record of 17-16. Texas City won 40-37 in their recent league challenge against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX)

Next up, the Tornadoes battle the Santa Fe Indians (Santa Fe, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, February 17. Ball will attempt to improve on its 9-23 season record.
