Michigan High School Basketball - Tri-Unity Christian can't hold off Covenant Christian
February 6, 2015: Grand Rapids, MI 49534 The Tri-Unity Christian Defenders basketball team (Wyoming, MI), was nudged 56-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI)
The Chargers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to NorthPointe Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 10. Covenant Christian will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 62-53 league loss to Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-2.
The Defenders (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Western Michigan Christian (Muskegon, MI). The Warriors come into the River Valley battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Western Michigan Christian edged Grand River Prep (Kentwood, MI), 58-52, in a league battle.
