The Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) basketball felled the host Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX), 58-39 in Tuesday's league test.

The Steers (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region I District 5 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Snyder defeated Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX), 56-47, in a league test.
