In Wednesday's league test, the visiting Hand Tigers ice hockey team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Branford Hornets.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Black Knights enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Stamford was nipped by East Haven (East Haven, CT), 8-4, in a non-league test.
