Nebraska High School Basketball - Scotus fells Boys Town

January 3, 2017: Boys Town, NE 68010

Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Boys Town Cowboys (Boys Town, NE), 54-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Scotus upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Shamrocks host Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-9.

Next up, the Cowboys clash with the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Boys Town will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 70-29 non-league win over Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE).
