The Alexander Bulldogs basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host United Longhorns to 54 in the Bulldogs league victory on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host United South for a 6A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Longhorns (16-7) will now prepare for their contest against Del Rio (Del Rio, TX). The Rams come into the 6A Region IV District 29 contest with a 5-18 record. In their last contest, Del Rio was defeated by Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX), 50-49, in a league contest.
