South Dakota High School Football - Huron drops to Brookings
August 29, 2014: Brookings, SD 57006 In Friday's league game, the Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD) football team knocked off the visiting Huron Tigers (Huron, SD), by a score of 28-7.
The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD). The Golden Eagles come into the Eastern South Dakota game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Aberdeen Central toppled Washington (Sioux Falls, SD), 7-0, in a non-league game.
The Tigers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brandon Valley for a Eastern South Dakota game on Saturday, September 6. Huron will battle a Lynx team coming off a 41-34 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD). The Lynx record now stands at 0-1.
