Maryland High School Basketball - Springbrook routs Churchill
December 11, 2015: Potomac, MD 20854 In Friday's non-league outing, the Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD), by a count of 67-40.
The Blue Devils (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD). The Barons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Bethesda-Chevy Chase bounced Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD), 37-36, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 14. Churchill will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 71-39 non-league loss to Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD).
