In Friday's league match, the host Commerce Tigers football squad scored a big 56-20 victory over the Towns County Indians.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) in a A Region 8 match, on Friday, October 28. Commerce will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 8-0 record after their 26-23 league win over George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA).
