North Carolina High School Basketball - East Bladen overwhelms South Columbus
February 4, 2011: Elizabethtown, NC 28337 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) and the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC), saw East Bladen's basketball squad trounce South Columbus by a score of 63-33.
With the victory, East Bladen improves its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a 3A/2A Conference 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 8-7.
Next up, the Stallions battle the West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) in a 3A/2A Conference 2 challenge, on Monday, February 7. South Columbus will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 63-39 league loss to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC).
