April 14, 2010: South Pasadena, CA 91030 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Mayfield Cubs softball team scored a close 6-1 win over the South Pasadena Tigers.
Coming up next, the Cubs encounter the Chadwick Dolphins (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA) in a Prep outing, on Friday, April 16. Mayfield will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Dolphins enter the outing with a 1-6 record after their 15-2 league loss to Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA).

Game Summary
Mayfield took advantage of So. Pasadena errors and walks to defeat the Tigers 6 - 1 in a non-league game. Mayfield scored first in the 4th inning. After 3 walks Jessica Parada singled to right to drive in 2 runs. Lauren Armenta then reached on an error and 2 more runs scored. Anneliese Luck then lead off the 5th inning with a single and was driven in when Julie Monohan singled. Claire Penney (batting for A. Luck) then lead off the 7th with a single and scored when Josie Luck reached on an error. So Pas scored 1 in the 7th after a walk and a passed ball and a fielders choice. Katie Clancy pitched a complete game for the Cubs striking out 11.
