In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), by a margin of 71-44.

The Buccaneers (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hernando (Brooksville, FL). The Leopards go into the non-league outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Hernando smashed Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL), 38-30, in a non-league outing.

The Sharks now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hernando for a 5A District 7 match on Tuesday, January 10. Nature Coast Tech will confront a Leopards team coming off a 55-11 non-league loss to Gulf (New Port Richey, FL). The Leopards record now stands at 7-9.
