January 24, 2017: Houston, TX 77089 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dobie Longhorns (Houston, TX) and the visiting West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX), saw Dobie's basketball squad overcome West Brook by a tally of 74-61.
With the victory, Dobie improves its record to 15-10 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to South Houston (South Houston, TX) to confront the Trojans in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 19-10. South Houston won 54-37 in their recent league challenge against Deer Park (Deer Park, TX)
Next up, the Bruins confront the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (Pasadena, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, January 27. West Brook will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 12-14 record after their 42-41 league win over La Porte (La Porte, TX).
