September 21, 2012: Weyauwega, WI 54983 Amherst Falcons (Amherst, WI) fans exited the stadium pleased Friday as they saw their football team smash the host Weyauwega-Fremont Indians (Weyauwega, WI), 55-12 in a league challenge.
The Falcons (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI). The Chargers come into the Central Wisconsin - Eight challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Wittenberg-Birnamwood was ripped by Little Wolf (Manawa, WI), 42-3, in a league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shiocton for a Central Wisconsin - Eight challenge on Friday, September 28. Weyauwega-Fremont will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 44-8 league win over Bonduel (Bonduel, WI). The Chiefs record now stands at 4-1.
